The mds.smart-therm is the only heating device of hot tubs which sensors the flow of water. (Typical pressure sensors cannot "feel" if pressure is created by air or any foreign substances). mds.smart-therm will automatically switch off the heater if there is no real water flow detected. This protection system extends the heater's life expectancy.

mds.smart-therm is a heating system that sets new standards in spa technology. It works in tandem with mds.smart-box which makes this a very safe, reliable and durable system.

The temperature and the passage of water is examined continuously by mds.smart-therm.

With elaborate control algorithms the water temperature is guaranteed to be correct. (The water temperature in the heating element is not necessarily the same temperature as in the hot tub, mainly if the pumps are not on.)

The integrated electronic flow-sensor (generally mechanical pressure-sensors which diminish over time are used) detects whether there is really water flowing.

The powerful 3.8kw heater is able to heat the water very quickly but will work in low-power-mode whenever possible.
